Music Ministry
At St. Eulalia’s, we are blessed with many talented singers and instrumentalists of all ages. We encourage all with a love of music to prayerfully consider joining our music ministry to help raise people’s voices, minds, and hearts to God.
Cantors
Cantors lead congregational singing at weekend liturgies as well as on Holy Days and at weddings and funerals. Cantors are always needed!
Adult Choir
The adult choir is open to any students who have received the sacrament of Confirmation, as well as all adults. Ability to read music is encouraged but not necessary. If you can carry a tune and love praising the Lord in song, we would love to have you join us!
Choir rehearsals begin in September and run through the end of April, with additional rehearsals for First Communion and Confirmation Masses in May/June. Most rehearsals take place on Sunday mornings between the 8:30am and 10:30am Masses, with occasional weeknight rehearsals throughout the year before major holidays.
The choir alternates singing between the 8:30am and 10:30am Sunday Masses. For a rehearsal/Mass schedule, please email the Director of Music (music@saint-eulalia.com).
Youth Choirs
Each Religious Education grade sings during the year at their school Mass with rehearsals taking place during their class time. Additionally, any interested children are invited and welcomed to sing at 4pm Christmas Eve Mass.
Rehearsals will occur during Religious Education classes and an announcement will be sent to all parents in the Religious Education program, and will be listed in the bulletin.
Instrumentalists
Any students, grades 7-12, as well as college students, who play a woodwind, brass, or string instrument are invited to play at any 10:30am choir Masses when Religious Education is in session.
Please email the director of music (music@saint-eulalia.com) for more information!
Adult instrumentalists are also invited to join us, especially for Christmas and Easter.
