Religious Education Resources

Religious Education Calendar 2024-2025

Classes are held each Sunday 9:30-10:30am in the lower level of the Conlan Center

Religious Education Handbook 2024-2025

This handbook is offered as a resource for parents to learn about our program and find answers to commonly asked questions.

Class Masses

During the Religious Education year, one Mass is supported by each of our grade levels. During the student Masses, the children will support the Mass by acting as ushers, altar servers, greeters, lectors (readers), and gift bearers. Students will also participate in singing and music ministry.

Curriculum

We use the Gospel Weeklies curriculum from Pflaum Publishers. These weekly lessons teach children about the Gospel they hear during Sunday mass using age-appropriate stories, crafts, activities, online videos, and more. The lessons and activities help connect the scripture we hear in mass to the students’ daily lives and activities. The Gospel Weeklies also incorporate lessons about the church’s liturgical calendar, saints, the Beatitudes, the Ten Commandments, Advent, Lent and church feast days.
